So we've been amazingly busy the last month and a half working hard on our most recent venture with Fifth Row, A Seussified Christmas Carol! We've had a great time with old and new friends as we've gotten to know a wonderful cast and share many laughs. We had three great performances last weekend and four sold-out shows this weekend. Each performance seems to be getting better! We will have two performances at Spout Springs Elementary on Friday morning which should be fun. We then close our show Friday night. We've had a great time being the Narrator and Bob Cratchit. We have been able to work with a great group of people. Even though we are exhausted and in need of a few days off, we will greatly miss these folks.

This past Friday, we got to celebrate my birthday with my family and the cast as my folks, Matt and Heather, and the In-Laws (plus Mammaw, Pappaw, and Nellene) came to the show and then surprised me with an awesome Elmo cake afterwards. We had a great time and I'm thankful for all the love on Facebook and in person. Birthdays are always weird to me because I tend to get all sentimental and introspective. Every year is a year where good things and not so good things happen. Opportunities are taken and opportunities are wasted. Some things are regretful and some things are precious memories and all are not to be forgotten. I appreciate the friends and family who shared my special birthday.
On a final note, we are officially now in the car market. I got into a fender bender three weeks ago that officially totaled my Hyundai. It's sad as that car got me through many years and was very good and dependable but now we are having to purchase something else. We are looking at probably buying a Honda CR-V if we can find the one we want at the price we want. It'll happen though. It's a frustrating process but it's exciting as well.
So that is all that is going on right now. Hopefully it won't be another month before we post again.
